Off the coast of Port-Vendres, the wrecks are not just another decoration: they are ships placed there, colonized by life.
Several were torpedoed in the spring of 1944, during the Second World War: le Bananier (Alice Robert), the Saumur and the Astrée.
The journey takes you from a bridge to a crevice, from a machine gun to a bed of damselflies.
The boat leaves at 8 a.m., the navigation is short, and depending on the level we stay on the Pytheas, at the end of the port, or we go down towards these wrecks from 1944.
The sites
The CAP Port-Vendres leaves every morning at 8 a.m. for the wrecks, after a short sailing trip.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Pytheas is accessible from Level 1. For le Bananier, the Saumur, or the Astrée, you generally start with a Level 2 certification, depending on the dive site and your map. The José Illueca requires a hypoxic qualification or a ccr of Competence in Diving).
